- Installing our tubular drive bands:
Cut to length (slightly shorter than the existing fiber band, or slightly longer than an existing heat-sealed band). Put in place on the wheel, and slide the tube around the connector. If it is too loose, slide apart at the connection and trim.
Some folks have found that shortening the connector, and/or shortening the band slightly helps keep the band from jumping off of the pulley after the original installation.
